“The Howlin’ Gales are an up and coming band based in Toronto. The band offers a unique blend of the classic country-rock vibe while highlighting the folk and blues undertones that draws the audience in with their magnetic sound. Originally starting in 2022, the band has grown and found their sound with members Mark Sinclair (Vocals, Guitar), Aaron Lusch (Drums), Cassius Lucchetta(Bass/Vocals),Matthew Chiarotto(Guitar) and Conor Lynch. The band has hit the stage at many of Toronto’s favourite venues such as Lee’s Palace, Horseshoe Tavern, Dakota Tavern, and Cameron House. The group released an EP in 2024 and is getting ready to release new music over the coming months. Taking inspiration from the people around them, the songs are filled with emotion and passion that can be felt through the music. Hot Fudge Sundae frontman, Calum Kennelly’s vocals bring the small town to the large stage. With over ten years of performance experience, Calum’s powerhouse vocals are wrapped in a sweet, down-to-earth personality that leaves listeners hooked from the first note. He marries the punch of his stadium-worthy vocals with the intimate, relatable experience of a singer/songwriter evoking Gord Downie’s diverse delivery and Bruce Springsteen’s anthemic energy in the same breath. Calum draws from a deep and wide repertoire of music from Pearl Jam to Michael Jackson to The Killers. When Calum is not performing as a solo artist, he leads Hot Fudge Sundae, whose upcoming performances Lee's Palace and Toronto’s NXNE festival.
